As you all know the end of support for Microsoft XP is next week. I also found out that they are also ending support for Office 2003. I have learned to use Windows 7 and I like it, because it is similar to Windows XP. I have not touched or tried Windows 8 or 8.1, but recently it was announced that they were going to bring back the "Start" button on Windows 8. Ok that is a step in the right direction for Microsoft by doing that. I have seen a Windows phone and I have been told Windows 8 and 8.1 is similar to the set up of a Windows phone. I did not like the looks of that setup. I have used Windows since 3.1 came out. To me Windows XP was better than 95 and 98. I never used Vista or Windows 2000, everyone I know hated them both.
I understand that technology moves very quickly. I agree that things have to change with the times, but as the saying goes if its not broke do not fix it. Windows 7 as I said to me is similar to Windows XP. I just did not like the emails I kept getting from Microsoft every other day. I actually felt like Microsoft was wanting to "bully" me.

I like Windows 8 a lot and the Start button would definitely make my life and all the other Windows 8 users so much easy. It is a pain to look for programs if they're not on your desktop or pinned on the task bar.
