It was announced this week that a state was going to again increase the tuition for all colleges in their state. At the flagship college of this state tuition is increasing by 7%. Every other college in the state is raising tuition by 2.5%. Alot of current students are going to have to struggle to pay for college and all of the high school kids in the future may not even go to college at all due to the fact they can not afford to go. Plus alot of high school students are seeing how hard it is to find a job with a college degree. The author of this blog got a college degree and could not find a job in my town and surrounding areas. That made me feel disheartened and I felt like I had wasted my parent's money and let them down. In my opinion more and more scholarships are in the wrong fields.
So as tuition increases their will be less students going to this state college's. It might help the state's technical colleges or all of these colleges you see on TV their attendance will go up.
