I Used to be a Hardcore Gamer

I used to be a hardcore gamer. It started when I was younger and me and my father used to play all of our Atari games. We played them until our Atari 2600 quit working and we got an Atari 4800, which by the way I still have in a box stored away, and I do not know if it will work on these newer Tv's that are out now. I loved my Atari. Then I got the first NES the one that came with Super Mario/Duck Hunt and I bought alot of games for that system too and then I played it until it quit working. You know when you have worn it out when you have to blow into the system or on the game to get it to work. After that was the Super Nintendo and then Nintendo 64 both of those were used until they quit working too. After that I got out of gaming for awhile and then I got a Nintendo Game Cube and that sucked as a system and then I got a Playstation 2 with a bunch of games and I played it until I sold it in 2008. I played alot of games back in those days. Now a gaming system is the price of a new computer and the games are ridiculously priced. I play free games now and I wish that they did not have micro transactions in them. It is ridiculous to get a free game and then have to pay to get things to get past a level, but I am patient enough to either keep playing the same level until I beat it or until I get aggravated and just give up on the game and find something else to play.

I do not miss having a gaming system and if I had an awesome computer, then that might be a different story some computer games are cheaper than having a gaming console.
