For those of you that has been under a rock and did not know this China is a communist country. They do not believe in letting their people be "free thinkers". Any one remember Tienanmen Square back in the 80's and the infamous picture where a college kid is standing in front of a tank. Google it if you have not ever heard of this.
Back to the point of this blog. In the current issue of a magazine produced by the American Bible Society there was an article about how China needs more bibles. I saw this and said what the hell? and I made the comment that if you get caught with a bible in China they shoot you on site because you are committing a serious offense. Of course my comment sparked a debate with my Christian family who claims that there are parts of China that do have Bibles and believe in the Christian God. My question is where in China do they have the guts to do this. I mean when I hear that missionaries are going to China I think they are crazy. This is the same country that took over Tibet and they kill babies if you have a girl as your second child.
China does not even allow the Quran or any Muslim text in their country for the same reason.
