CD REVIEW #1

This post was originally going to be called Album Review but I decided to change it.

NIRVANA NEVERMIND

It was the second studio album from the band "Nirvana". I loved this album back when I had it on cassette and was playing it loud. It was one of the first cassettes I bought after my mom and my dad changed musical tastes. I guess you could call it some of my rebel music. Yes even us nerd outcasts had "rebel music".

All of the songs on it was awesome to me. I remember "Smells Like Teen Spirit", "Come as you are", "Lithium". All three of these songs had great videos that MTV played over and over and I have watched them on YouTube when I am feeling nostalgic. It was also the beginning of the Grunge Era in music and it was the death bell for all of those 80's hair bands that I personally despised.

All songs written by Kurt Cobain, except where noted.
"Smells Like Teen Spirit" (Cobain, Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic) – 5:01
"In Bloom" – 4:14
"Come as You Are" – 3:39
"Breed" – 3:03
"Lithium" – 4:17
"Polly" – 2:57
"Territorial Pissings" (Cobain, Chet Powers) – 2:22
"Drain You" – 3:43
"Lounge Act" – 2:36
"Stay Away" – 3:32
"On a Plain" – 3:16
"Something in the Way" – 3:52 / "Endless, Nameless" (Cobain, Grohl, Novoselic) – 20:37 (hidden track)

I am also making this my first Cd Review Post because this year will mark the 20th anniversary of Kurt Cobain's death. No matter how you feel about what happened to him, he was an awesome musician that made great music.
